Horses are a major part of Hartley Valley Holiday Farm. The ability to take part in equestrian activities on an exceptionally economical basis is a major factor in many people’s decision to become farm members.
As a Member of Hartley Valley Holiday Farm you and your family can enjoy riding and getting to know the 30 or so horses and ponies owned by the farm at no extra cost, every time you visit.
From friendly ponies for the littlies through to kind school-masters for nervous riders and more challenging mounts for experienced riders, the Farm has a horse for every level of rider.
Included in your membership are the weekend programs of lessons and trail rides as well as the variety of equestrian activities held daily throughout every week of the school holidays. In addition, enjoy Gymkhanas, the Hartley Farm Horse Show, sporting days and regularly scheduled jumping, dressage and horsemanship clinics conducted by visiting instructors.
The farm has excellent facilities for equestrian activities including beautiful trails, stables, sand covered arenas and a round yard as well as some of the most knowledgeable wranglers and instructors in the Blue Mountains. Come and meet our friendly staff as they take you through your paces (the horses already know what they have to do).
Not only does the Farm provide a unique and affordable opportunity for families to enjoy horse riding all year round, it also offers Members the chance to safely learn about all aspects of horsemanship and improve their riding skills no matter what their level or goal.
